Can I use my existing Shopify account with BuildMyPOD?
Yes, you can use your existing Shopify account and even an existing Shopify store, as long as both the BuildMyPOD app and the Printify app are installed and connected to the same store.
Here’s what matters:
You can sign in with your existing Shopify account (no need to create a new login)
- You can use an existing Shopify store or let BuildMyPOD create a new one.

- If you choose to use an existing Shopify store with BuildMyPOD, we will be using a Safe Setup integration to ensure that your current store setup remains unchanged while you explore BuildMyPOD’s features. This will happen automatically for Shopify stores that have at least one product published.
This option will maintain your existing store untouched. All the new products and the theme will be uploaded as drafts. If your store had pre-existing color mappings, they'll display alongside BuildMyPOD-generated swatches.
- Every Shopify store is treated as a separate subscription.
Even if you already pay for one Shopify store, creating a new store (like the one BuildMyPOD sets up) means you’ll need to choose a plan and pay for that store too.
You can use the same Shopify login/email to manage multiple stores, but each store has its own billing, apps, and admin dashboard.
